Architecture Drafter - Full time position Hiring 5/6/2015

An award winning Residential Architecture firm in San Diego, specializing in Custom Residential projects in Coastal areas and in Historic neighborhoods, is seeking the addition of an experienced Architectural Drafter to our small office.

The Architectural Drafter will work both directly under the Principal Architect as well as with the Senior Project Manager. Drafting will be required for all phases of Schematic, Design, and Construction Documents. In addition to drafting, other duties will be Permit Processing at the City of San Diego, Site Analysis research, taking as-built measurements and drawing as-built plans.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time drafting in Revit AND a Minimum of 2 years of full-time drafting in Autocad in an Architectural Office
• Specific experience using Revit for Construction Document packages
• Detailed Modeling using Revit
• Revit template creation and building custom families

Preference will be given to applicants with the following:
• Architecture degree from an accredited architectural program
• Ability to prepare a full set of Construction Documents
• Work experience on Custom Residential and Historic Properties
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Display strong problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed individual
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
• Time efficient and organized, able to meet deadlines
