Boutique Interior Design firm seeing Junior Designer to join our quickly growing team. Our firm has the pleasure of working with wonderful long-standing clients and our office is a creative, fun and respectful environment.
This is a long-term, full time position with immense learning potential for the right candidate. A positive attitude and love of design are essential! We are looking for a self sufficient, organized problem solver with the ability to multi-task and help move projects forward toward completion.
Job Duties:
- Getting quotes, following up with vendors and coordinating installations
- Shopping for residential fabric, furniture, and accessories
- Shopping for construction materials (tile, plumbing, etc)
- Drafting plans, elevations, and furniture plans (Autocad knowledge is a MUST)
- Constructing a presentation board for client meetings
- Creating project binders
- With oversight from lead designer, provide timely and proficient assistance in all phases projects
- Work directly with office manager to gather and prepare estimates from vendors
Technical Requirements:
- AutoCAD & Adobe Photoshop
- Hand Drafting and Quick Sketch are a plus
- Previous residential Interior Design experience
- Studio Webware or similar software experience is a plus
- Interior Design degree from UCLA or similar
