Having a rendering skill is one of the key for your success. It is not "you must have skill" but if you do, it makes you stand out among others.
Everyone or most of people that applied to architecture firm already knows "You must have skills" like AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit, and more" It is just matter of whether you are efficient with the programs or not but this skill are not easy to be shown until you get hired into the architecture firm. However, in contrary, the rendering skills are little different.
